DSIP, or Delta Sleep Inducing Peptide, is an investigational peptide that has primarily been studied in connection with sleep regulation and the sleep wake cycle. It is also called emideltide. DSIP has also been investigated in relation to stress and neuroendocrine signaling. One small human study found that intravenous DSIP reduced ACTH levels without significantly changing cortisol levels, suggesting that it may interact with the body's stress response system.
